Can I get a legal separation while still living with my spouse we have been living a separate life for years money is tight

Yes, you can initiate the process for divorce in the Commonwealth even though

still residing with your spouse in the marital home, but to meet the necessary

conditions for such a circumstance, each spouse will need to maintain what

amounts to a separate household within this marital home and be able to offer

credible proof of such at the appropriate time when required to do so by the divorce court considering such a matter.
