Libality for college kids riding with each other

Is there a form we should have kids or parents sign when our college kids has a friend ride with them home from college

Sure, you could have any would be riders sign a form saying something to the effect that "all gratuitous riders(those riding for free)between X college to their Y home destination(s) do so at their own risk and should have no expectation of compensation for any damages they might incur as a result of any accidents during the course of the trip, in the event that the driver (named)is either alleged or determined to be the one at fault".

Of course, there is no guarantee that the above signed statement would necesarily shield either the driver nor you(if your vehicle and insurance were involved)from all possible claims of liability from one of these gratuitous riders who may have incurred some injury along the way home.
