Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have no written or court ordered custody argreement. My husband is refusing to let me have my son for the wknd per our verbal agreement. If I pick him up from school and keep him for tge wknd anyways am I doing anything illegal or will it hurt me in court for custody?

No, and probably not, as long as the latter type of visit more or less comports with your

verbal agreement (in my opinion).
