Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia

FMLA and similar VA state laws

I'm trying to determine whether Virginia offers employees any additional protections or rights beyond that provided in the Family and Medical Leave Act? (i.e.- does VA just adopt the FMLA in full, or have a supplemental statute governing this area as well?)

As far as I am aware, Virginia has not adopted any legislation that would give employees enhanced

rights and/or protections beyond that provided for in the FMLA.
