Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I have a judgement against someone who has not made any type of payment in a large claims civil case. We received the judgement 45 days ago and I have not heard anything from the defendant. Is it too early to file in contempt of court and how would someone do so?

O f course, you haven't heard anything from your judgment debtor since you haven't apparently

initiated any action to enforce payment of this judgment which you might do by garnishing your debtor's wages

or, perhaps, by levying against one or more of his bank accounts. (And, no, the remedy of contempt

would not be appropriate at this apparent stage in the enforcement of the judgment.)
