My mother accidentally cracked her employer's phone. Yes , my mother agreed to pay through a text. But, now I'm questioning does her old phone really cost 189. Do I have to pay for her new upgrade phone, or the cost of her old phone. I'm from Norfolk Virginia.

No, only the fair market value of this phone at the time your
mother cracked it.
