Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Amnesty

First off, I'm not really educated on immigration, but I'm worried about someone close to me. Several years ago two people wanted to leave from Italy once they heard their young child had passed. They wanted to come to America along with their other daughter, who was brought to Italy from their homeland. The parents took advise from those who eventually screwed them up. For some reason they were in a rush to leave and couldn't wait for their daughter to have a passport, so they used their deceased daughters passport (she was born in Italy, while the other wasn't). Unfortunately, their daughter had to fingerprint herself as her sister and is worried because she wants to be known as herself with her original age in America and not her sister. She also wants to have a job and attend college. Is there anyway this can be reversed, or have amnesty be granted? Her parents are already filed for permanent residency, and don't understand how she feels about the situation. Thank you.

There have been no amnesty. Even if immigration reform will take place in the future, it is not likely going to be an amnesty.

They have committed a crime, and the daughter entered the USA under another identity and documents. I suggest, this family consults a knowledgeable immigration attorney.
