can i apply for us citizenship after having a felony for drinking and driving?

That depends on the statutory language of the conviction. One would need to see if there was a mens rea requirement or a willful conduct provision. After, it could be decided if one can apply for citizenship.

As a general rule, if this felony conviction happened during the previous 5 years, a naturalization application can be denied because of lack of a 'good moral character". Even if happened more than 5 years ago, this could be a serious issue. You should consult a lawyer before filing application for naturalization.
