Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

How long can one stay outside USA with the Green Card ?

I have been issued Green Card last June .But,I came to India even before that with my advance parole.

After that,my GC has been issued. But,till now,and also for another 1 year,I will not be going back to USA.

Can I still go back to USA with my Green card ?

Any help would be appreciated.

The advance parole and a lawful permanent resident re-entry permit are separate things. Since you are a permanent resident, you needed to apply for a reentry permit while being physically in USA.

Yes, there is a danger of abandoning your residency.
