Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
My mother has PhD degree. When we applied for her visitor visa, she got 221g pink slip and then she got visitor visa for one year. what happens if she doesnt travel to US within one year and re-apply for visitor visa after one year? will there be any problem?
1 Answer from Attorneys
It shouldn't be a problem. Having a Visitor's visa to USA doesn't mean that she must travel to USA. If a visa is expired and she feels like traveling to USA, she will need to reapply for another visa (submit a new application, visa fee, etc).
