Re: Entrapment

Entrapment as a concept in the criminal law applies to alleged actions of police or law enforcement officials with respect to a previously targeted person who is later charged with offense(s)which she or he allegedly committed as a direct result of these aforementioned police actions and which the defendant otherwise would not have committed but for these inveighling(designed to entice) actions on the part of police or law enforcement. These

aforementioned actions, if proven against police or law enforcement officials, may provide the defendant with a defense to the crime(s) charged.

The actions which you've described and attributed

to private club managers have nothing to do with the above-described concept of police entrapment and would appear to be entirely within the permissible range of employer-employee relations

and conduct.
