i am 36 year old mother or a 16 year old daughter and we have lived in my daughters home for 5 years. i am disabled since 2001 and receive ssdi. i pay my mother 700$ a month rent which covers her morgage payment and have never failed to pay her. she said she wants me and my daughter out of her house. and i already payed her rent this month. please help ,wendi

Since you've been paying monthly rent, the law would likely regard you and your daughter as tenants and with the rights that go with such a status, including the right to have appropriate advance notice as to when your tenancy is to terminate and when you must vacate the premises(at least 30 days). All of which, very likely means, that your mother will not be able to formally evict you from her house before January 1, 2010, and very likely not even by then. (This delay, of course, will also have the additional benedit of providing your mother with ample opportunity to, perhaps, reconsider her decision.)
