Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I bought a house 5 years ago and it had trees around the rear. The snow storm have up-routed three of them. If there is any damage caused by them, am I liable? I did not plant them, they were hear already.

If the fall of these trees were foreseeable and they caused damage to another person and/or his or her property, yes, you could be liable (in

my opinion).
