Quit Claim Deed

I purchased a house and I want to give total control of the prperty to an individual. In the event the property is sold I don't wan to give up my right of my initial investment which is sizeable. Will a quit calim deed forfeit my rights to a fair and equitable compensation as in Virginia law.

If you now quitclaim whatever interests you have in this property without receiving fair compensation for the transaction at this time, then you would forfeit your right to claim compensation for the property at some time in the future.
