Real Estate Agent Access to a Leased Property - What is ''reasonable''?

I am currently leasing a property that has been put up for sale. It has been on the market for over 8 weeks now (since the landlord refuses to take less than asking price), we have had 100+ agents/clients come to see the property. We have no privacy during the day because of this since anywhere from 2-10 come each day. Sometimes we get a phone call first but other times we do not. Is there any way we can restrict access to just a few hours a day? We also have a family member having surgery in a week and it is unfair to have the daily parade of people while he is recovering. Thanks for your help.

You need to look at your lease. There should be a provision granting the landlord access in the event of efforts to sell, or otherwise. If there is not, the landlord (and through him, the agents and prospective buyers) have no right to access. If there is, the terms of that provision will govern.
