If a person's father passed away, but the father owned a portion of family land that is also owned by the father's other brothers and sisters, is the child of that person entitled to their portion of the land even though the father and the child's mother were not legally married?

No, not likely (in my opinion), unless this child was specifically named in the alleged father's will as designated to inherit his interest in this land (or portion thereof as appropriate).
