QDOT and Attorney's Fees

Is money that is taken out of a QDOT

(Qualified domestic trust) to pay

attorney's fees exempt from estate

taxes if the fees were from work

pertaining to the creation of the QDOT?

I have no idea, but why not ask the lawyer who did the work for his or her opinion, and, if this lawyer doesn't know, then you could always ask the agency to which the taxes may be due or another lawyer who handles estate tax matters.
