Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

when i was 19 i was charged for solicitation of prostitution...i was served alcohol by the officer and i never went to the room with him i only danced for him and i still had clothes on when they came in...i never went to court for it when they set my date when i was still in the police sting...a few months later i was pulled over and taken to jail for a prostitution warrant...i pled guilty so i could be releasede but i never told the judge what really happened...what can i do now to not go to jail and get this tooken care of...i never had another charge of this nature since and im now 24

I will assume for a moment that you had counsel when you entered your guilty plea. If so, unless we could prove you had ineffective assistance of counsel, and you are still within the period of time to appeal, then maybe you can get the case re-opened and go to trial, making you subject to additional penalties.

Alternatively, you can apply for a pardon from the governor. To get that, you would need to admit to your crime, that you were wrong, etc., and then demonstrate that you have lived a model life the past 5 years and that you will never stray again. It's a chance with the only thing to lose being attorney fees.
