Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington

Wedding catering contract

I signed a catering contract for a wedding last Aug for this Aug. Prior to signing, they said we could have a food tasting. Long after we signed and 4 months to the wedding, they now say that they cannot offer a food tasting because our menu is not on the standard menu for this facility. The facility knew our ''special'' menu prior to us signing. I'm under contract now to pay min $65 per plate, but I can't taste what I'm getting prior to eating it on the wedding day. That's not fair; especialy when they told me that we could have a food tasting. What can I do?

Re: Wedding catering contract

Probably not much at this point. It sounds like your food tasting provision is not in the contract, which makes it even less likely that you could do anything.
