Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Juvenile felony
My 16 year old son was convicted of 4 felony charges along with 3 other youths. One of the charges was for gun possession. It was presented to us that all 3 would get the same punishment. During the sentencing the first youth got the agreed upon punishment. My son was sentenced second and he received the agreed upon punishment and the third youth had his gun charge change to a driving charge. He has since re-offended 2 more times. My son has been a stayed clear of trouble for the last year and a half. My question is, is it possible to have this case looked at again to see if the gun charges that he was charged with can be changed to a lesser charge?
