skipped out on my jail time
i was recently sentenced to 17 months jail time, and instead of reporting to jail i unwisely fled to another state, what options do i have?

Live on the run, or turn yourself in. You'd be wise to do the latter through counsel to argue for you. Feel free to contact me for such help if the case is in SoCal courts.

You should ask the lawyer who represented you in the trial court this question. He is the only one in a good position to answer it and to help you deal with the consequences of your actions.
