Possible Abuse of Senior Assets (Alzheimers)
My sibling (eldest son of 3 living siblings) secured our mothers signature on a Power of Attorney AFTER she was diagnosed with Alzheimers. He then used this document to move her (keeping her location secret from some of us) while he then disposed of her property first to himself, his children, then to who knows where. He then sold her home, placing her in a care center. Her assets are now completely gone (I believe) as she is now being taken care of by the government (medicade? or medicare? I don't know which one.) How can I force him to provide me (and the other siblings if they wish) with a detailed accounting of her belongings (and of course my fathers belongings - whom had already passed away)? I want to know what was sold, for how much and exactly what was done with her funds. I would also like to know exactly what was given to whom and the value placed on each item gifted to whom. (This is difficult in the best of circumstances, but in this instance, some siblings were not notified disbursements of property, offered nothing and I know my parents wanted specific items be gifted to individuals irregardless of value.) I feel once accounted for, I can let it go & move on with my life. Thank you.

If he doesn't do so voluntarily, then with a lawsuit for accounting and return of property to its rightful owners. There are no other answers. If the money is gone, if he has nothing left, nothing to pay with, there's no point of spending money on attorneys. You could file criminal charges as an alternative.
