What age child custody choose in washington?

What age can a child choose what parent she wants to be with i the state of washington. can you tell what book and paragraph to look in?

There is no set age. It all depends on the child's maturity and reasons they articulate for wanting whatever arrangements they want.

As a general rule though, I would say that while all children's responses are noted by court appointed guardians or child custody evaluators, the older (say starting at age 12) the more likely the child's opinion will weigh on a judge's decision.

That is a very rough state of how things work, in terms of the child's opinion. I hope it helps.
