Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

I have a custody situation i live in washington and my kids live in texas and i want to see them and get custody arangements going and i just wanted to know what the first thing i need to do and what rights do i have or begain finding out what i have to do to be able to see my kids and i dont really have alot of money at my disposal my main focus is on my kids

Given that your kids live in Texas, I suggest you contact a Texas attorney, or repost this as a Texas location to get a Texas attorney's help. This is because jurisdiction will most likely lie in Texas, assuming there have never been Washington state orders to affect child custody for your kids.

I would only add that even if there were WA orders affecting "custody," that if the children have lived in TX for over six months the case could be moved there by the primary residential parent, so you would probably be better off acting on that basis. Consult with a TX attorney.
