Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Divorce Advice

Were a family of 4 and my wife has announce to me this week that she has filed for divorce. This was unexpected and I am currently looking for legal advise to help protect myself. My wife has submitted all of our financial information and she is prepared to have me sign papers acknowledging the divorce. How do I go about finding a good lawyer?

Re: Divorce Advice

If you like, give me a call later today, or you can e-mail me and I am happy to give you a free telephone consultation. My office is in Seattle, but I take Whatcom County cases.

During our discussion, my goal is to provide you with enough information to have an idea of what the law is, how it applies to your situation, and to provide you with an idea of costs. From there, you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.

In the meantime, until an attorney can review whatever your wife wants you to sign, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING.
