Re: divorce with children

I know this is not going to look good or read easily, but here goes: You are in way over your head on this one. The DV and presumably Dept. of Child Services seizing the children from your mother in law pose serious issues for you and your children.

Since you cannot afford an attorney, I suggest that you lookup the Northwest Justice Project, or the Washington State Bar Association or the Thurston County Bar Association to see if the Northwest Justice Project will take you on at little or no fee, or if the bar associations can pair you with a no or low fee attorney to represent you.

Beyond that, this forum is simply too limited for me or anyone else to explain how to go about what needs to be done. I am sorry about that and sorry to be the bearer of such bad news. On the other hand, those organizations I just referred you to ought to be able to put you in touch with someone or some organization that can help you. Best of luck to you!
