Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
I filed contempt charges on my soon to be ex. I sent them to him via certified mail, however he has not picked it up yet. This paperwork is time sensitive and I need to have him served if he does not get them from the post office. Can he be served by anyone?

You can always have him personally served by anyone over the age of 18, who is not a party to the suit (such as you). Try to have a professional process server or the local sheriff serve him. Process servers are often more expensive if you are in a rush, but they get the job done.
