Re: My husband died

I think your best bet at this time to to make an appointment with an attorney that is local to you, to determine if you qualify as what is known as a "pretermitted spouse," which may then entitle you to some portion of your late husband's estate.

If there really are millions at stake in your late husband's estate, then frankly, this website is not where you want to start. Do yourself a favor and invest in a good local attorney who can pore through all the documents and inform you of what if any legal standing you have to challenge the will. The worst case is that you will be out a few hundred dollars to preform an evaluation, and you will at least know your rights before you give them up (if you have any) or before to waste time asserting rights you may not really have.

Best of luck to you.
