Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

On March 1st 2010 I moved out of my ex-boyfriends house. We shared this residence for 4 1/2 years. He was incarserated at the time. He was released in August of 2010. Yesterday, Febuary 5, 2011 I received a call from Thurston County Deputy wanting to know what and how I moved out almost a year ago. After, so many questions I told him I wasn't going to answer anymore questions until I seeked legal advice. He said ok and we ended our conversation. My question is what can I expect from this if anything,

Thank-you

Dear Ms. Freeman:

If I understood you correctly, someone from the Thurston County Sheriff's office wants to know why (you wrote "what and how") you moved out of your ex-boyfriend's home. Assuming you are not on parole or probation or anything like that, and assuming they are not looking for your boyfriend and this is part of an investigation into that, then I think you can tell them that you refuse to answer their questions.

That said, I am hazy on the details of why they called you. You can follow up on this post with details and I am happy to elaborate then.
