does alcoloism carry any weight to the spouse that is not one , in any way during a divorce/and or a legal seperation? iwashington.or is it considered a personal issue?

It would only carry weight if there are minor children, and custody is an issue, or where the alcoholism led to needless financial losses, such as one spouse gambling away marital assets, or spending excessively on things that did not benefit the marital community.
Otherwise, typically, the answer is no, the alcoholism is not taken into consideration.
