Paternity
I was never married to my daughter's father but his name is on her birth certificate, does this prove legal paternity?

Re: Paternity
Yes. However, to get a custody order in place or child support, you will need to file a paternity action. Get in touch with an attorney near you and pay for a consultation. Knowing your rights will be worth the fee for a consultation.
