Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

If my spouse was divorced and then we were married in MN, a non-community property state. And

then move to WA, a community property state. Do I inherit his debt prior to our marriage?

No. There is a long explanation behind that answer, but suffice it to say, the answer to your question is no. This assumes that you divorce in Washington under Washington law. If the question is not asked in the context of a dissolution of marriage, but rather just to know so long as you are married what happens to his pre-marital debt, then the answer is still the same. No, you do not inherit his pre-marital debts.
