Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington
My boyfriend is currently held in custody by ICE he has no criminal record and the only reason he is in custody is because he is illegal here. He signed the voluntarily deportation paper because he thought he had no choice. Now he wants to see if there is any way he could stay here and fight his case. We were planning on getting married on the near future am a us citizen. Now we are wondering if we get married now would it help his case or what are our options?
