I am filling the N-400 form for my wife. I am trying to figur out the answer part 6. B. My wife is say home mom the question is asking for her employment for last 5 years.

What would the proper way to fill line item

You have to put her occupation there. If she is a stay-at-home mom or a homemaker, then that's what she should right down.

Please note that N-400 form is not your application, but your wife's. She is the one who should verify it for completeness and sign it.
