Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

Hello!

I am an American citizen and will be moving overseas (greece) to live with my husband. I am kinda confused with all the things I will need to change, go through and think about before I leave. My main question is, is there anything ILLEGAL I could do in this process as I would like to avoid this of course! I currently have bank accounts in the US, I pay taxes in the US and have a home address in the US. Is there anything I should know or do before I leave that could cause problems later?

Thanks,

This is not really a question pertaining to USA immigration.

If you are USA citizen emigrating to Greece, you need to consult an attorney in Greece in regard to all immigration procedures you have to follow.

As to your departing the USA, the government is not going to be concerned, as long as you continue paying (or reporting) your taxes to IRS every year.

All the best.
