Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

I need to file a summons and complaint for a personal injury case. The statute of limitations ends 10-28-2011. I have spoke with an attorney and they said that it is too short of notice for them to do it, but will take the case after I file, I need to know what wording I need to include in my filing.

Since you only have a couple of days in which to file your summons and complaint and get it served, you should instead find another attorney who is less busy and local to you. Don't try to do this on your own. It will only end disastrously.

The phonebook is literally filled with thousands of personal injury attorneys almost all of whom will at least give you a free consultation and can tell you if they will at least draft and file the summons and complaint. If they don't have enough time to evaluate the case, you can offer to pay them on an hourly basis to at least draft and file the complaint in the summons and get it served on the defendant and then consider whether they want to remain on the case. At that point you can negotiate a contingency fee agreement, or take it to another attorney who will accept the case on a contingency fee basis that is acceptable to you.

Best of luck to you,
