Privacy
I am a middle school teacher. We are currently in the process of designing our school's web page. In doing so, some teachers would like to put pictures of their students on their pages. Are you aware of any legal issues related to doing this? I am also covering this issue in one of the classes I am taking. I would appreciate any related information!

The question revolves about the right of privacy of the individual. In most cases since you are dealing with minor children it is prudent to obtain the permission of the parent before doing so. As a general rule, I would not use the name of the child along with his likeness since there are many pedophiles etc. who would have access to the site looking for victims etc.
