Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

police legality

on oct7 at 2 am the police came knocking on our door.i answered,they asked me if i was driving my car,i said no,my daghter was .the officer told me to get my daughter. he asked if she hit a car she said no. they asked her if she was at a bar and if she was drinking she said yes.he told her to ger dressed and come with him to the station. they gave her a breath test which she failed. they did not take her licence away but gave her a notice of suspesion. the incident took place a t 1:55 am they came to the house at 3:00 am is it legal for the to come inside without a warrant and take to the station. the owner of the car that she hit said my daughter did not appear to be intoxicated. he feels bad that he called the police and will testify for her,when she came home iwas up and gave her a glass of wine that i did not want also she has asthma and used her inhaler. is it legal for the police to insist she take a breath test
