Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

Sentencing Question

I recieved a sentence for Causing Great Bodily Injury W/Intoxicated in WI.The sentence was for 12yrs. 3 in9on extended supervision.Because of guidelines it was reduced to 3 in 5 supervision. Also in the sentence the judge said''As long as I was on supervision I would'nt be aloud to even drive an electric wheelchair''.The question is,I have a MN.license, not WI and in the law books I have read it says that my license can only be suspended for as long as the issuing state, which is 2yrs. Can the judge supercide the guidelines of my driving privlidges by not allowing me to drive as part of my sentence or conditions during release? I can obtain a legal license .

Re: Sentencing Question

The can impose conditions during the period of probabtion where, if violated, the Judge may impose all or any part of the sentence previously stayed. That means although the State of Minnesota may allow you the opportunity to driver, the Judge and Corrections Department in Wisconsin can view it as a violation of probation.
