Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin
My daughter moved to shreveport with her boyfriend and their son about a year and a half ago. They has since split up and on June 1st her boyfriend took their son and disappeared. There was child support payments at one time but she has gone to court and had the order dismissed. There is no custody. Her boyfriend is refusing to return her son and we believe he has left Shreveport and is somewhere back in Wisconsin. We have tried every law enforcement agency we can think of and no one will help because there is no custody. Her boyfriend is also on probation and the probation office told her it was not their problem. What can we do?

Report the child as a missing person.
The other parent would have no enforceable rights unless established by a court.
