my wife abused me, and we are seperated. she was put on probation and was just revoked. I have not filed divorce yet and am concerned about property division as her boyfriend was living with her. how do i secure my interests in the property and prevent him from stealing it???

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply, I lost your message for a while. If you file for divorce, you can quickly get a court order that freezes everything, and makes her responsible for her own debts after that date. Any property division after that time will be between you and your wife, and not the boyfriend. The sooner you act the better. An attorney in your area can more specifically guide you in what you need to do to protect yourself.
