Legal Question in Immigration Law in Wisconsin
Do I Need A Fiance Visa?
Hi! I am a UK resident engaged to a US citizen. We've looked into me moving over on a Fiancee Visa but we know this will take quite a while and be quite costly.
Can I go over to the US and marry my fiance without filing for a Fiance Visa? Is this illegal?
Thank you for any advise given.

Re: Do I Need A Fiance Visa?
You can do this and then return to the U.S. and file an I-130 and then a K-3 for your (soon to be) spouse. You may also want to check to see if you can file for your (soon to be) spouse in the U.K. directly at the Consulate after you get married. Please feel free to contact our office at 201-236-9998 with any additional questions that you may have.
