Legal Question in Immigration Law in Wisconsin
My husband and I are trying to fill form I-751 to remove my two year condition after getting my residence through marriage. He is a U.S citizen. I am within the 90 days prior the expiration of my residence and I have some problems. to answer some questions of the form.
In the part where it says something about filling in with my names used and other names (including maiden name), does it refer only to my maiden name and married name or also to other nick names I use and that are not in official documents?
In part 5 it is asked to provide information "about all your children" . I have never had children of my own, but when my husband and I got married he already had 2 boys of a previous marriage, and U.S citizens as well. Right now one is 19 ( has moved out ) and the younger one is 17 and still living with us. Does the question refer ONLY to children If I ever had any or also to step children? In case I do not need to add this info. shall I complete with "none" or N/A?
In part 7 there are some blanks to fill in including to add the signature of the person preparing the form if other. If my husband and I are filling this form together, what do we need to fill in in those fields? leave blanks, "none" or N/A?
Finally, do I need to write something in ALL blanks even if the question of the form does not apply to me? I have also noticed that the last form I-751 online has an expiration date 10/31/09 Where can I get the newest version?
I will reallyappreciate a lot your help and time !!
Thank you.
