I Am A Permanent Resident Card Holder,have Been Married For 20 Years And Want A Divorce,husband Is Threatening Me With Deportation Back To Germany,can He Do This?

i have never been in trouble with the law.

No, he can't deport you. He has no authority.

You are a lawful permanent resident and can live and work in USA permanently as long as you wish, whether you are married or not. You have nothing to be afraid of.

Also, you can apply for USA citizenship by naturalization. You may first want to check with German consulate.
