Legal Question in Immigration Law in Wisconsin
Will fiance's history of disability jeopardize K1 petition?
I'm engaged to a UK man. We have started gathering info about the K1 visa process. We noticed that on the biographic data form that is submitted with the K1 petition, that there is a section to fill out about work history. My fiance has been on disability the last 6 years. He plans on attending school once in the US. We are concerned, however, that his history of disability will be grounds for rejection of our petition for a K1 visa.
Do we have reason to be worried? Is this a sticky enough situation that we should invest in legal representation for the immigration process?

His being disabled should not pose any problems, but the whole fiance visa process can be sticky enough itself so it would more than likely be in your best interest to get legal representation.
