Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin

Sexual harrsment case or no case

I work in a mill and straight out I'm no angel but I can take a joke as well as the next person. However today at work my fellow co workers were teasing me about deep throating a banana and how I had to go and ''jack-off'' the night before due to teasing from a female co-worker. Which I did neither of the 2. after listening to this for Aprx 1 hr. the plant superintendant came into the room and proceeded to join in. I finally said to them ok enough is enough. he continued as well as my co-workers and I snapped and walked out went and went home upon arriving there is a message on my machine saying he was sorry for what was said but was told I was being obscene before he came in. which I took as him trying to intimidate me. I called and he asked me to come back which I did. and was told he was sorry again. now no one would speak to me because he informed them not to talk to me. he also admitted he let it go to far. any advice would help. thank you

Re: Sexual harrsment case or no case

Hello,

You may well have a case of harrassment. If you would have been fired, you would really have some rememdies. Even though you are still at work, you may be negatively affected and have some remedies. However, reseearch would have to be done to see what you should do at this point. Go back to work, but consult further with a lawyer as to your options. Best wishes,
