Withholding last paycheck

Can my employer withhold my last paycheck? Can they deduct monies for uniforms? I live in WI

Generally, the answer is "no." An employer may not withhold a last paycheck. You can call the Labor Standards Bureau of the WI Dept. of Workforce Development, discuss your situation with them and file a Labor Standards complaint. http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/er/labor_standards_bureau/ They can assist without the need for you to get an attorney.
