Charging full last months rent then rush us out first week
I gave my 2 months notice, required in our lease, and of course I am obligated to pay the last months full rent. We moved into an apartment in a different town durring the last month of our prior lease. Our new land lord gave us the first month free so we could pay the last month of rent in our old place. Now our old landlord wants us to pay, but then wants us out of the old place the first week of the last month. Can he charge us for the whole month and then rush us out the first week?

I thought you had already moved out. If so, why are you concerned about the request for early moveout?

You were obligated for the last month's rent, and secured free rent from the new LL. What is your complaint?
