Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My divorce paperwork indicates a period of 66 months of spousal maintenance payments with this clause:

"Spousal maintenance payable hereunder shall be non-modifiable in amount and

duration and shall terminate immediately upon any of the following dates or events:

(i) Wifedeath, or (ii) wiferemarriage; or (iii) Husbands death"

If my ex-wife is cohabiting with another man but is NOT married to him, is there anything I can do to get this spousal support terminated/reduced? Am I stuck until the 66 months are up?

I expect you would have a difficult time modifying spousal merely based upon cohabitation.

If you would like us to spend some time doing research for "creative" legal theories, we can do so at the rate of $250 per hour. However, such is not likely to be productive.

Please call me directly if you would like to discuss the matter.
