If meeting with bankruptcy counsel, the latter should provide a detailed, no-guesswork-involved list of necessary docs. Prepare to provide, for example, pay advices, LES, or other proof of income, and a most recent tax return. Certain evidentiary documents are common to each case; other case-specific document-requirements may be ascertained after meeting with the attorney.
